New Rules: Advice for those who participate on Buzzflash.net

Very astute member of buzzflash.net community chased away by authoritarian editor, publisher, liar and lunatic buzzer, sent weazl the following advice to share with others how to expose how anti-democratic and authoritarian his "reader driven site" is. Here are the suggestions:

I've noticed that Buzzflash has very few contributors now. 95% of the site is driven by Buzzer. 80% of the comments are from Zee, with an occasional remark from Ray-sore. So, I have devised a rules of engagement that, if followed, can help turn the spot light on how fucked up that site is. At the very least, it allows users who do go to that site, gain a little more individual control, since Buzzflash seems to have control issues.

The best way to deal with Buzzflash when visiting that site:

Rules of engagement

1. Don't buzz anything published by Buzzer no matter how good you think the article is. Buzzer gets his Karma from people buzzing him.

2. Do not vote for anything from Zee or Raz0r. I have reason to believe that Buzzer, Zee, and Raz0r are the same person. Think about it. Buzzer doesn't have a voice. Zee is his voice and sticks up for him at every turn.

3. There is reason to believe that Buzzer may be "Born again" or at least "Israel can never be wrong". If you submit articles on these subjects they may get rejected. That's fine. Don't react, just keep track.

4. Don't submit sketchy articles because that takes away cred.

5. Don't react to any comments. Do not make comments of any kind. Zee cannot exist unless he has something to push against. If you want Zee to lose his power, ignore him at all costs. Do not respond.

6. Keep submitting articles so that others can vote for you. Keep track of the ones that get pulled. Do Not React.

7. Vote for each others articles, but don't be transparent. Vote for ones you like, don't vote for the ones you don't think are important. Keep your integrety.

8. By the time Buzzflash realizes what is going on we may have a site up and running where freinds can go without folks like zee and buzzer. Why? Because we can eliminate anyone who violates the cardinal rule: Be polite. If you aren't ratioinal and you aren't polite, you're gone!

Thank you for the insightful comments. One way or another buzzflash will either adapt to becoming what is was marketed as, or die. As given the authoritarian nature of the founder and his willingness to listen to constructive criticism, it appears the latter is unfortunately more likely. To a person, weazl included, have said what a nice idea buzzflash.net was, but sometimes things don't work out like they're intended, and it is inspiring to see the progressive community taking control of its media and holding accountable those who provide it.

Great job.

This is an interesting strategy. I only wonder if the site is worth the effort. I'll give it a shot, though. Buzzflash.net seemed like a great idea, but it is hard to breathe in the poisoned atmosphere over there.
