Except that,
if you look at a photograph of Earth, perhaps taken from mars, the idea of monkeys becomes dysfunctional.
At that moment I prefer to perceive human beings as microscopic organisms.
And,
if you were to visit our nearest solar system neighbor in the Alpha Centauri group, about 4 and 1/2 light years away, with a little tutoring you could possibly see the sun as a pinprick point of light, but no Earth.
From that perspective there would be no evidence of human life.
