We've seen it before. I really don't think he knows what he's up against. That is most refreshing, though it does make me feel like I am watching a mouse run in the snake tank.

I forgot who it was who said that John F. Kennedy was the last president who actually thought he was running the country. Barak does know that he has to bow down to AIPAC, but I don't think he knows that AIPAC doesn't really run things, but the WASP's nest. I think you are right that the more success he gets, the more likely it is that the worlds will collide, the world people see and believe in every day, and the secret world where real decisions are made and carried out (and spun for the minions).
