Tehran - An Iranian diplomat who had been abducted in the Iraqi capital Baghdad was released and arrived in Tehran on Tuesday, the official news agency IRNA reported.

'The second secretary of Iran's embassy in Baghdad, Jala Sharafi, was released and arrived on Tuesday at Tehran's Mehrabad airport,' IRNA reported.
