Chávez' Government collects money for reconstruction of Lebanon
Hugo Chávez' Government has launched a campaign to collect money in Venezuela for donation to Lebanon, in an attempt to help reconstructing Lebanon following the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah militias, Foreign Affairs minister Nicolás Maduro said.
He added that the government opened a bank account to receive deposits under a plan called "One Venezuelan bolivar for Lebanon." The minister urged Venezuelans to join such an effort in order to mitigate the effects of the conflict, the Venezuelan official news agency ABN reported.
"I hope the Arab, Jewish and all the other communities living in Venezuela, and particularly Venezuelan, react and make know the Arab people in Lebanon and the Arab people of Palestine that we are supporting their cause," he stressed.
Chávez' Government has hired charter flights to help evacuate Venezuelans and other Latin Americans from Lebanon amidst the conflict.

"If I donate $10g, will you write an article about me????"
