My wonderful woman partner asked me how come I loved boxing when it's so brutal, and I'm otherwise against wanton and wasteful acts of violence. But there's nothing more beautiful (if brutal) than boxing at its best. Here are highlights of two of boxing most artistic and dangerous performers. If someone doesn't understand the beauty and appeal of boxing after these videos then they never will.





Yet the last thirty seconds of the last video are perhaps the most telling: such is the fate of all boxers (excepting two: Rocky Marciano and Ricardo Lopez). It shows Roy Jones himself being knocked out, twice. Beautiful, yet deadly.
