Repost -- Iraqi Resistence Video

Watch the video

Weazl still thinks that this video ranks as one of the most powerful uses of the media by a resistence group, coupled with the use of technology, ever.  The fact that this was made in 2004 is very prescient given today's turmoil in the region, and the ensuing weakening of the American Empire.  And of course, the use of someone with an English accent provides a certain heightened air of credibility, civlility and legitimacy (see how we're brainwashed).  Others have commented on it (Counterpunch), but it explains itself best, and provides a poignant repartee to Bush's "Bring it on" challenge.

Thanks for the compliments, Soc. You know I was happy when I saw that you found me. You're quite the funny one, though you've been on good behavior and don't give us your "blue" humor that I've known and loved.

I guess I'll have to post an open thread or something to give you the space to really "freewheel." Yeah, I am a bit stuffy on this site, but you know better than most that I love to just let it rip.

I probably can't do that so much here, but I can live vicariously through you. So if you get inspired, just go on a tear like I know you can. Preferably after you've swilled a few and have absolutely no inhibitions. And you know me, I won't edit a thing. So your pearls will be saved for posterity. ;-)
