Mainstream Media Finally Waking Up!
Weazl has been screaming for years about the rampant criminality of the Bush cabal, and readers perhaps might have thought he was being funny or hyperbolic, but unfortunaly he has been quite objective on this matter. In this new space of Bush's popularity being abysmally low, the media is finally saying things that should have been investigated five years ago.
And the new scandal about tens of millions of ordinary Americans having their Constitutional rights violated won't stem the tide.
And continued music videos, such as Jackson Browne's "Lives in the Balance," and the powerful permanence of performances such as Stephen Colbert's only contribute to a more critical political space.
And on another note, it is nice to see other countries such as Brazil taking a different track with respect to countries such as Bolivia from asserting dominion over its natural resources than a country such as the US.

Hey Weaz,
I think the media are waking up simply because they can finally do so without being attacked.
When Uncle Sam is making war, and they're all making money they wave their little flags and spin Judy Miller's fairy tales.
But now that 31% and the gang have put Uncle Sam's head on the global chopping block out of their own greed and stupidity, the formerly servile media can be a bit more critical.
But they still have bosses whose only interest is selling those commercials in between whatever the newsreaders decide to ramble about.
Well, I generally agree with you, but Kieth Obermann has been banging the tin drum for a while, but nobody's been listening. But in general, you're spot on.
But I don't think the media bosses only interest is selling commercial space. I do see them as belonging to an elite class that will often sacrifice profit margins for genuflections to the Bush moron Buddha.
