Giuliani vs Clinton 2008?

With less than two years to go before the beginning of the presidential primaries, Sen. Clinton continues to be the clear choice among Democrats as their party's presidential nominee. The new FOX News poll finds Clinton receives the support of 43 percent of registered Democrats — outdistancing by about 30 points potential competitors such as former Vice President Al Gore (12 percent), former Sen. John Edwards (11 percent) and Mass. Sen. John Kerry (10 percent). These results are about the same as those in previous polling conducted last fall (September 2005).

Among Republican registered voters, Giuliani remains the front-runner and edges out McCain by 7 percentage points (29 percent to 22 percent). Other possible GOP contenders receive support in the single digits; former Congressman Newt Gingrich comes in at 8 percent and Tenn. Sen. Bill Frist is backed by 5 percent.

Well, I hope that Hillary doesn't get the nomination. I think she has a snowball's chance in hell of winning. I hope Feingold gets the nod. Will be tough. Yes, I see Rudy as the Repub choice, and I think sadly he'll be tough to beat. But Hillary certainly certainly won't be the one.

Ska Hillary försöka bli president? Det har jag inte hört talas om. Kanske beror det på det att jag inte har television.

It's quite clear that she is considering it. Major candidates don't formally announce until the last minute to draw suspense, but she has been taking every step to do so for quite a while, as is Rudy.

I've read another report that the best chance for a Republican to win in 2008 would be if Colorado's congressman Tom Tancredo ran as a third-party candidate. I'm not sure any congressmen would be willing to sacrifice themselves in that way plus it is a little early.
I want to see how the 2006 elections turn out.

Da Weaz said...

For me, it's Feingold or Gore. The old bastard learned a lot from his 2000 "loss", but realized what happened a little too late. But Nixon did the same thing after he lost to Kennedy, bounced back eight years later.

What does what Bill Clinton did have to do with anything? And do you think that getting a blow job disqualifies someone from being a president? How many presidents around the world do you think have NOT gotten blow jobs from someone other than his wife? And what does that have to do with Hillary? Do you think getting blow jobs is more detrimental to the American way of life than destroying the economy, the armed forces, the intelligence capacity and the international reputation? Yeah, you can switch to French but if you're going to make such little sense, it's better to speak in your mother tongue where there's a chance that such silliness will be obscured by long and funny words.

Uuups. Did it again. ;) Got you angry.

Thing 1: My message was half a joke. Just wanted to see whether I can French at all.

Thing 2: I didn't say a word about whether either one of the Clintons is qualified or not. That I don't know about, as I don't know about much else either, as you have probably noticed.

Thing 2: I didn't say that I would think that no other presidents in the world have personal life of this kind (I can't use such strong language, sorry.).

Thing 3: What I said is that my picture of the Clinton family is coloured by these tragicomic events ten years ago. It's the same feeling as when you see your teacher going to buy spirits or something like that. After that you can't concentrate only on what they say and do - no matter how important and wise their message is. It just is like that. And it is sad that realizing that somebody is human is causing this that you can't take him seriously.

P

PS. Ei tarvi suuttua joka asiasta. Miksi minun vitsini ovat niin vaikeita ymmärtää? X(

Well in both languages you're missing the same verb: to speak. So you can decide whether you "can French" (or "can English") at all.

And no, you didn't make me angry. I'm used to your not-so-anonymous craziness.

And maybe in a few years it won't be so giggly googly funny to watch your teacher buy a drink. Many adults drink wines et al., and it would be quite foolish to not listen so someone just because they did so. But maybe that "wisdom" comes when you can write "blow job" without feeling ashamed.

And I'm not mad, but your "jokes" may not be that funny. But if you want to help out, you can cut and paste the punch line and we can see whether or not there is any humor that I'm missing. ;-)

Minä en ymmärrä. I don't know if it's a cultural thing but I find it weird that all kinds of people can come here and name you this and that and you just take it calm but when I come and say something half joking you get furious. :)

P

PS. I'm sorry to waste cyberspace and your time with my nonsense talks which don't have anything to do with real argumentation and important issues.

Da Weaz said...

Sorry, but I've said it again and again that I am not furious or even annoyed. Maybe it's a cultural thing that you don't accept my word for it.

You're right: I've been speaking Swedish so much today that my French and English was influenced by the Swedish grammar too much.

So:

I can't speak English.

Je ne peux pas parler francais.

Jag kan inte (tala) svenska.

Ööö.. I'm not sure about it.

Da Weaz said...

And, by the way, I invited frivolous talk, but you seem to get offended quite easily, then blame me for being furious. In point of fact, I am quite happy in all aspects of my life, and am simply enjoying myself right now. Whether you want to believe me or not is your business but I even enjoyed your multilingual efforts. Maybe try relaxing a bit. And yes, I don't get mad when I am called really bad names, and I really don't get mad at your silliness. But maybe you shouldn't get mad when I call it what it is, either.

Frivolous --> learning new words, thanks.

Yeah, maybe I should relax a bit. It's just so difficult when I get negative comments from around me when doing so (I don't mean from you but from others).

It's nice that you liked my efforts (emphasiz on this word) to be multilingual. I'm curious about this that can you really speak Swedish or do you cope with that on the basis of your skills in German, as many of my friends say?

Thanks for stopping by Arash. I have studied a few languages, but unfortunately Persian isn't one of them. But a friend of mine does, so I have asked him to join the conversation. :-)

By the way, wanna spill any secrets as to how you find all those beautiful pictures of Iranians?

Grunt: The image of Barbara Bush performing oral sex is definitely one that I'd rather not envision, no matter how "good" it is.

Bella, desideri dirci qualcosa circa quei Palestinesi ancora? :-) Ciao
